(Christchurch) Members' Night No 01 - practical evening - Creative Use of Depth of Field

We meet at Christchurch for our first Members' evening of the season.  Tonight Steve Baldwin will discuss how we control depth of field and how we can use this creatively to make our photographs stand out from the crowd.  The evening will be a mixture of a short talk followed by a practical session so bring your cameras and tripod (if you have one) and and use this opportunity to experiment varying the depth of field.  There will be an opportunity to use a shallow depth of field to create some bokeh (look it up) if you have not done that before.
