Steve Baldwin is giving us a talk on depth of field and how to use it creatively.
Including practical exercises so bring your cameras and tripods.
You will be able to take part if you are using a smartphone camera.
If using a DSLR or mirrorless camera then a 24-105mm zoom would be ideal.
There will also be an exercise for using macro lens if you have one.
Please bring prints to be considered for the 4 Way Battle to be held on the 1st October, the Ron Harvey Landscape competition on the 5th October and prints for the 1st Print competition on the 6th October
Tue 15 Sep 2026 - (Christchurch) Start of Season Meetup
After a summer break, where we hopefully have taken lots of great images, this is a chance to meet up together again and discuss what you did. It also gives new members to see what the club is like and to chat to existing members. Any new procedure for the new season will be outlined and ideas exchanged for organising topics for Members Evening and photo outings.
