During the summer break we scheduled a photo walk which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the intense heat. We have now re-scheduled this walk which will commence at 2.00pm and finish at 8.00pm today. The sun will dissapear below the horizon at 6.35pm giving you a chance to shoot at sunset and during dusk. We want members to go out on the streets of WGC armed with their cameras to capture images which are creative and show the essence of the clubs home town. Think about producing different views of familar places. Try reducing images to monochrome to show a more arty impression of the place we live. Try different lenses and different techniques such as long exposures, multiple exposures and ICM. We want you to produce creative images that are still reconisable as being of WGC. A formal invite to members will follow but for now put the date in your diary.
We will ask you to upload your favourite images so that we can chosse some for display within venues within the town as a means of promoting the club. All images will remain eligible for future club competitions provided they meet the criteria for that competition.
